DOWNPROOF
- Hoba downproof fabric is soft and high-density. The fabric construction is meticulous, without any gaps after calendaring or coating.
- This fabric has lightweight thermal insulation and can be used for down jackets to prevent feathers from escaping.
HEAT REFLECTIVE
- Our solution takes a bicomponent approach, with foil dots covering about 35 percent of the fabric, which is tightly woven or knit to prevent fiber migration from the insulation underneath. The dot pattern is good for the hand touch and the base fabric wicks moisture and is air-permeable.
- The foil dots reflect body heat back to the wearer but also are conductive, which helps dissipate excess heat, providing what is called a "ying-yang" effect. The foil also discharges static electricity that might otherwise build up in the fabric. And, because the fabric is reflective, 20 percent less insulation is needed to obtain comparable heat retention.
DRY
CLASSIC PERFORMANCE FABRIC (2L)
- Hoba classic performance fabrics allow water vapors to pass through the fabric from the inside. Perspiration vapor readily passes through the fabric too the outside, while wind and water or snow outside the garment cannot enter. The inside of the garment remains free of moisture droplet and helps the body stays warm and dry.
SUPER CLASSIC FABRIC (2.5L)
- Hoba super classic fabric is a waterproof/breathable fabric that combines a shell with an inner-printed design, with a matching seam tape to make the design more complete while keeping good function.
- The final product does not require a lining, making the garment both lighter and more fashionable.
SUPERIER PERFORMANCE FABRIC (3L)
- Two layers of fabrics bonded together with a membrane using lamination. This fabric does not require a lining, is soft to the touch, and gives the garment a clean, finished look.

COOLING YARNS
- Adding ore powder or other mineral material powder into the process of yarn spinning and then using cross or Y-shape stitches enhances the wicking performance and breathability of fabric.
- Compared to traditional textiles, cooling yarns have better thermal control abilities; so the body temperature can be easily balanced with the outside environment to achieve the effect of a rapid cooling sensation.
COOL & WICKING
- Quick-absorbing, quick-drying fabric rapidly absorbs perspiration and disperses it over the fabric's surface, allowing for fast evaporation.
The wearer stays dry and comfortable as moisture on the skin is minimized.

- Hoba fly guard zone fabric binds a proprietary permethrin formula tightly to fabric fibers, resulting in effective, odorless insect protection that lasts the expected lifetime of the apparel.
WINDPROOF
- Hoba windproof fabrics use a closely woven microfibre which cuts wind chill and protects insulation but still allows the movement of moisture away from the body. A durable water-repellent treatment helps to deflect rain.
